MARINE ARCHAEOLOGY
ARK-Sukellus is a Helsinki based company specialised in marine archaeological investigations. Our services comprise of:

SURVEYING AND DATA INTERPRETATION
Our work focuses on marine archaeological surveys and consultations connected to i.e. water construction projects, pipeline implementations, fairway designing and communal planning in offshore, inshore and inland environments.
ARK-Sukellus has provided marine archaeological consultation services for trans-Baltic projects such as "Baltika", "C-Lion 1", "E-Finest" and "Nord Stream 2".
We use a 450 - 1100 kHz side-scan sonar system for underwater surveying and target positioning. Our mobile survey equipment is easily deployed for use even in the more remoter areas. Special emphasis is put on shallow water investigations.
ROV FILMING
Our accurate GNSS receiver is used for precise positioning and mapping of archaeological remains and other land sites for a variety of surveying purposes.
GNSS MAPPING
4K ROV filming adds to our list of mobile survey and documentation services. Underwater sites and targets, often with limited accessibility, can be documented remotely with professional quality ROV footage.
